Background of team 109A:

Team 109A is made of 4 students, all sophomores.

All 4 members have been to VEX Worlds at least twice.

Team 109A visits South Forsyth Middle School on most Wednesdays and mentors the future SFMS roboticists.

Background of team 109X:

Team 109Y has 4 members, all freshmen. 

3 of the members have been to VEX Worlds before, and they look to make it once more.

Background of team 109Y:

Team 109Y is made of a wide variety of students, 2 freshmen, 2 sophomores, and 2 juniors, and 2 seniors.

For most of their members, the 2016-2017 Vex In the Zone competition is their second season.

Team 109Y is having a successful year for a team of their experience.

Background of team 109Z:

Team 109Z is made up of 4 freshmen, all with at least 3 years of experience. 

So far they have had a very successful year, winning more than 50% of their matches and double qualifying for states.
